Please mark you calendars for November 8th at 7:00 p.m. for the upcoming HJRB board meeting. It will be at the High School in room W-113.
We will be discussing the upcoming 2013 season and will let you know the dates and details for the bootcamp and evaluations. Also 2013 improvement projects.
This is also a very (very!) important meeting for those of you with kids in the U12 and especially the U10 age bracket. Currently the core HJRB board is made up of parents with kids in U14, three of them in their final U14 year. Our "retirement" is looming!
It is time we need new leadership to step forward! The current board will take the program through the 2013 season but not beyond. This is a great time to bring on new leaders to watch and observe, and to learn the ropes with the current board still in tact. We will discuss at this meeting how we can go about this.
So this is a VERY important meeting for the future of the Holt Jr. Rams Baseball program. We have worked very hard these past few years to continue and to improve this program. But our time has come. We'd hate to see our hard work go down the drain due to nobody stepping forward as we did back in 2009. Also, to be truthful, our passion is fading and we really need some new blood; some gun-ho leaders to keep HJRB one of the best youth baseball programs in the area.
