Save the Dates: Bootcamp and Player Evals
Bootcamp
With all the snow, power outages, and wicked cold weather, the 2014 Bootcamp on Saturday February 1st will be a great way to thaw out your baseball gear and bodies before player evaluations the following weekend.
Player Evaluations
Player evaluations will be held at the Holt Ninth Grade Campus on Saturday February 8th and Sunday February 9th. Four time slots are available to choose from each day (9am, 11am, 1pm or 3pm).
NOTE: There is a one-time $10.00 fee per player due at the door for the evaluations. This cost covers both days of the evaluations. 2014 Season
There will be teams for 8-10 year olds (U10), 11-12 year olds (U12), and 13-14 year olds (U14) based on the player's age as of April 30th. Every player desiring to play will be placed on a team with the following exceptions: - 8 year olds (as of April 30th) will be allowed to play if their skills evaluation results in the elimination of concern for the well-being of the player on the playing field. Remember, they will be participating with 10 year olds.
- High School students (even if they are 13 or 14 years old) may not participate in there HJRB program. We encourage all interested High School students to try out for the Holt Rams Baseball program (in addition to Varsity and Jr, Varsity, Holt fields a freshman team each year).
- Because of limited field availability, we are only able to field 4 U14 teams. Teams will be selected based on the skills evaluation.
